Stewardship

Faithful Management of God's Resources

What is Stewardship?

Stewardship is the recognition that everything we have—our time, talents, resources, and very lives—belongs to God. As stewards, we are caretakers entrusted with managing what the Creator has placed in our hands. This sacred responsibility calls us to use all that we have been given wisely, faithfully, and for His glory.

More than a financial principle, stewardship is a way of life that acknowledges God as the source of every blessing. It invites us into a deeper relationship with Him, transforming how we view our possessions, our abilities, and our purpose in this world.

Why Stewardship Matters

Understanding stewardship transforms our perspective on life itself. When we embrace our role as managers rather than owners, we find freedom from materialism and anxiety. Faithful stewardship strengthens our trust in God, deepens our gratitude, and aligns our priorities with His purposes. It prepares us for eternity by teaching us to value what truly matters—our relationship with God and our service to others. Through stewardship, we become active participants in God's redemptive work, making an eternal impact with the temporary resources entrusted to our care.

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."

Stewardship is

Partnership

Stewardship is a divine collaboration. God invites us to join Him in the work of caring for His world and advancing His kingdom. As partners, we don't labor alone—we work alongside the Creator, entrusted with resources that ultimately belong to Him.

Stewardship is

Personal

Stewardship begins in the heart. It's not merely about what we give, but who we are becoming. Our daily choices—how we spend our time, care for our bodies, and cultivate our talents—reflect our relationship with God and shape our character.

Stewardship is

Lifestyle

True stewardship touches every area of life. It's not a Sunday practice but a way of living that honors God through our health, relationships, finances, and influence. Every moment becomes an opportunity to glorify our Creator.

Stewardship is

Generosity

At the heart of stewardship is a generous spirit. We give not out of obligation, but from gratitude for all God has provided. Through tithes, offerings, and acts of service, we participate in God's mission and experience the joy of selfless giving.

Stewardship is

Time

Every moment is a gift from God. Faithful stewards recognize that time is a non-renewable resource and seek to invest it wisely—prioritizing worship, family, service, and rest in ways that honor the One who numbers our days.

Stewardship is

Talents

God has uniquely gifted each person with abilities and skills for His glory. Whether natural or developed, our talents are meant to serve others and build up the body of Christ. Using them faithfully multiplies their impact for eternity.

Stewardship is

Temple

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Caring for our physical health through proper nutrition, rest, and exercise is an act of worship. When we honor God with our bodies, we have greater capacity to serve Him and others.

Stewardship is

Treasure

Financial stewardship reflects our trust in God's provision. Through faithful tithing, generous offerings, and wise money management, we acknowledge that all we have comes from Him and demonstrate that our hearts are not bound by material wealth.
